CREDITS
Shockeye's Kitchen follows in the tradition of Derby-based Who fanzines such as Thermal Lance, FanGrok and – for all connoisseurs of obscure two-issue failures – Spearhead .
Named after the Androgum chef Shockeye O' the Quawncing Grig from Robert Holmes' 1985 Doctor Who story, The Two Doctors, the original print 'zine ran for fourteen issues between 1998 and 2003, whilst its sister publication Shockeye's Snack filled in the gap between meals with eighteen issues between 2001 and 2004.
Many of the original print articles from Shockeye's Kitchen and Shockeye's Snack can be found in the Freezer section of this website. Full credits for this section can be found here.
In early 2005, due to rising costs and a change in organisation and editorial staff, Shockeye's Kitchen returned as an online-only endeavour, with free downloadable PDF issues three times a year and regular Online Specials to keep Who fans stuffed with news, reviews and comment.
